Alby Malinger

A burying night brings my world to birth.
Upon a body's dying blood, a father's sharpened thorn.
Beneath this, the bond of the world, the womb.

Now with the shelter there is nothing to say
put my heart into someone who shouldn't be touched.
The hand swung down like a giant pendulum to wash out the days,
the hand that should have killed my world.

Twisted on the shelf of time's insanity,
shadows tightening on the year's corners.
From the tormented hand that caused the trembling pain in me.
A love turned wrong throughout my world.

Bent to someone's eyes, burnt from the debts left to pay.
Now with barely anything to be,
bowing to the stone face today.
The moment is nothing but a boy's diluted nightmare.
