Gerry or Clementine or Untitled

by

Bill Elder

Gerry
Reminiscing frisky,
Sipped his dietetic,
Pretending it was whiskey.

Clementine
A lump on her chest,
Caused Clementine's vest,
To bulge in an extra location.

The males on the make,
Did a double-take,
Speculating the aberration.

They'd seen two, or none,
And some just begun,
But never before - congregation.

Untitled
Grandpaw Riddle,
Skidding in spittle,
Broke a hip in the resthome can,

From his hospital bed,
Reportedly said,
"From the fire to the frying pan."
