Black As Can Be

by

Cinnamon Brown

My eyes are gray
My hair is straight
My skin is fair and I watch my weight
I don't eat pork
or grits
or Collard greens
I speak foreign languages fluently
I also wash my hair quite frequently
My mother is German
My father is a big black man
So why doesn't everybody else see
That I am as black as can be
