Prayer of a Sinner (My Repentance)

by

Cinnamon Brown

Dear God,
Sorry it has been so long.
It seems the only time I say your name is if its in a song.
I guess that's really unfair to you
Seeing how you always happen to bring me through.
I have taken a lot of things for granted.
Like how you've blessed me with so much talent
I know the way I live life is the worst
Like always forming my lips to curse
Anointing my lips with wines and spirits
And being addicted to those filthy cigarettes
You said that our bodies are holy temples
And you were the forgiver of all our sins
God do you still forgive when it never ends.
