Rainbow

by

Connie Brousseau

Rainbows remind me of the love we share
Of all the courage you give me while I'm scared
Your arms which you wrap so tightly around me
My eyes that let me see
All the love you have given me
Your lips in which I have so gently kissed
When you're gone the rainbows I miss
The rain of joy sprinkles down
The sunshine of your heart is all around
Storms in your eyes, full of surprise
The wind of your soul
I love the control
My rainbow we share
When either are in despair
Thunder crashes as our lips touch
Lightning strikes as our eyes meet
Our rainbow will still make me glad
No matter the storm you go through
I promise with all my love, I'll be there for you!
When times get rough
It is true, my rainbow is always here too!
