D. A. is Dead

by

D. A. Williams

The soul is gone

And so is the pride

You'll no longer see the flames

When you look into his eyes

Long and winding roads

He has walked by himself

And refuses to let the world in

'Cause he trusts no one else

Please forgive me if I lose the path

And I start to digress

But he used to give a d**n

And now could care less

There is a new man in town

His words are his weapons

And they're aimed straight for your head

If you've ever crossed his path

You better clear the streets

'Cause D. A. is dead!!
