Delirious

by

Dana Ruffin

Inspiration penetrates
and consumes my afterthoughts expanding
in a never-ending abyss of visions
I dissolve in the elixir of my obsessions
delirious.... I engage an intoxication absolute
diluted in the climate of my universe asylum
I am seduced by an allure of twilight hypnotic
magnetized am I behind a virgin gaze... I see
my reflection fragile with tender eyes open
inviting me into her wonderland serene
I am submerged in a delicate harmony elevated
in the silent hours of midnight liquefied in me
