Your coffee steams furiously
In the TV light
Take a sip, catch the breaking news
Towering, cumulous clouds
Are all that are soaring
You stare in a state of shock
At a state in shock
That poor soul at impact side
Could not call his wife
You struggle in your head
And wonder
Could you leap into space
Hand in hand
To beat the blaze
You hear the sirens wail at zero
Not whining but weeping, then
Trampled by the crumbling giants
That are forever Manhattan
