You Go Alone

You go alone
among the rocks
Breathing the destiny of dawn
And scuttled red sky will inhale
Lapsed airs for azure morning.
And when the spell gets broken
Through calm contemplation
I will close my eyes to heap
Some other vagrant image
And cliff tops will shout
Pointing to the vagaries
Of approaching shadows
Cast out by stiff destinations.
Mouth upon mouth now tasting
Past memories without regret
Tongue upon tongue to explore
Clocked dark stone circles of fell.
For the movements of hills
Feeding cool waters to skeletons
Some stubborn songs hiding
In order to burn like dry tinders.
