No matter what I do to make you see,
You'll never know what you mean to me,
It seems no matter what I do,
You'll never know how much I love you.
When I see the pain you held inside,
When I looked into your eyes,
It made me want to hold you tight,
And tell you everything would be alright.
I wonder 'bout you day and night,
Hoping one day I'll hold you tight,
Sometimes I wonder why you're a friend to me,
I'll never know what in me you see.
But so long as I can,
By your side I will stand,
Though you'll never know my heart,
'Cause I don't know where to start.
If only I could tell you,
How I treasure everything you do,
And maybe someday,
I'll be able to say
I love you.
