The Ancient Envy

by

Ehsan Elahi Ehsan

The roots of ancient envy, have gone,
Deep down the earth, leaving their emblems,
On the surface only to show, that the old envy,
Has been buried down in the bowels of earth.
But who knows that tomorrows, the same roots,
Shoot up anew, and take the human beings,
By storm. And, the mechanized heart,
Is ignited to wipe out another Hiroshima,
Another Nagasaki, and then this ancient envy,
Is embodied into the champion of world peace.
