While You Are Gone

by

Gala Ruiz Maldonado

I sit in silence
waiting for it all to end
hoping you're alive

building up anger
stretching my arms to reach you
from so far away

why do you do this
knowing about all the pain
I miss you so much

do you miss me too
who don't you come to see me
I would come see you

if I had some cash
I would take a ! little trip
I'd be by myself

I'll leave it alone
let it be where it remains
I shall care no more
