Life's Treadmill

by

Jack Mann

When you're feeling down in the dumps

And you can’t stand anymore of life’s lumps

Step back and take a look at what you’ve done

If you are on the right track

You won’t have to look back

Because you will already know how to run

If you want to know what’s in store for tomorrow

Just look behind you with sorrow

Because it will be the same if you don’t change

If you don’t get your stuff together

Then life’s tough as old shoe leather

And a hard road ahead will be your range.

But by putting God first

It will quench all your thirst

And life will never again be the same!
