The Soul Collector

by

Jeremy Manning

I'm standing below the earth
drowning in my own misery n defeat,
to weak to face the day ,
too tired to fight another war.

my power has grown weak.
the blood moon has risin,
heaven has fallin to oblivion
and madness has escaped
to haunt the playgrounds of leaders
chosen to lead us to the gates of Eden.

my anger has risin to yet fight another unforeseen apocalypse.
memory's of my family crowd my mind.
time for redemption has come fourth.
I'm the only human soul left to wage a war,
I'm alone to face this monster that has come knocking on my door .

I gather my weapons leave my fear by the door,
a day of hell and revenge, is my courage to fight. much blood will be shed,
victory is my goal.
the blade of my sword is my peace .
the collection of the evil and mislead is my gift.
