Sweet Lies

by

Jessica Cordova

I could tell you that I have a
Sister I don't talk to
Ever!
Also that I live in a dark red
House with cream trim.
I could tell you that my life is
Fine and I'm happy, but
I'm not.
In my life, I'm lost like a little puppy that has lost its mother.
I don't know where to go, and what to
Do or even say anymore.
I live life day to day,
Hour by hour,
Just guessing where to go next, like
A game and every move I make will
Make me lose the game,
I could say I have a boyfriend
Who would give the world to me,
But then I would be a liar.
I could tell you that
I trust my friends, or any one for that matter,
But I don't.
I could tell you sweet things,
But they would be lies.
