Paramour

by

Joanna Rozo

The taste of your blood,
the smell of your skin.
The feel of your wings
as they wrap around me.
You hold me tight
and whisper in my ear,
All those things
that I need to hear.
I hear your voice, even when you're not there.
I feel you inside me,
I see you beside me.
Some how, you are always with me.
