She Set Her Mind

She set her mind on forgetting him.
I believe her. She has good intensions.
There will be no longer this theme!
He’ll disappear in fog without trace.

There is no turn away from her plan.
She will be firm and determined -
She really wants to forget this man.
She aims to do it and won’t get frightened.

There will be no obtrusive night dreams,
No tears and no waiting for his phone call.
Nothing can stop her - there are not such things.
She wants to leave him and be alone.

She set her mind on forgetting him.
She was deadly serious – she didn’t joke.
But now she’s doubtful and sure of nothing -
He took roots in her heart like an oak...
