To Be Me

by

Jonathan Isenor

To be me
I just want to be free
Damn it I just want the real me
Just to be free
I just keep wondering why
When my friends ask I just die
Inside I'm fighting
Yeah I'm writing
I don't think anyone minds
Soon I hope to find
It looks so dim
I search for him
I just want this to be done
For it to be gone
To find the one
I don't want to snap again
In my view it's just a sin
The people that put up with me
Just don't see the real me
I can't even see me
I just don't want the current me
I often disagree
To be free from this cage
I withhold a lot of rage
People leave me
Damn I hate being me
To just be free
To just be me.
