Oceans of Time

by

Kimberly Osburn

Back in time to a simpler life, in my mind I try to return. Back to the
days of a summer long gone, without any cares or concerns.

Life was new back then and void of mistakes so carelessly made in the
Fall. An innocent mind with so much hope, trying to find the right road.

The road chosen turned out to be wrong, but it seemed right at the time.
Hindsight is so wise but weak, a second chance I wish was mine.

The past is gone and can't be changed, but the future has yet to arrive.
Still wishing for just one more day, lost on the oceans of time.
