Where I Want To Be

by

Krystal Jackson

I'm here all alone
Locked up again
No one's around
No one's my friend

I want to go home
I don't want to be here
If I don't get out soon
I'll float with the air

No one that loves me
No one that cares
No one to take me
No one that dares

All alone in the world
No one to feel
No one's shoulder to cry on
No one to heal

I wish I was a mermaid
Living in the sea
All my problems washed away
And I can only be

Or to be a bird
And fly away
Leaving my problems behind
To deal with another day

But that's not what I am
I can only be me
And I want to go home
THAT'S where I want to be
