A Garden For Us

God danced with joy on the day we met,
his angels sang to our first kiss.
Heaven has opened its gates for us, we found love in a garden created for us.
In our garden there's all sorts of pleasure, it was here that I gave you my
heart to treasure.
The red roses stand for a love that's deep, then lavender grew and made us
complete.
The daisies are for a friendship forever, I will never stop loving you, now or
ever.
There are thorns in the garden, there will be thorns in our side, but the
angels will guide us to take things in stride.
I love you my darling, you're a heavenly gift, we will walk life together and
never drift.
You showed me a love I have never known, by being apart it has only grown.
God gave us a garden that we must sow, but remember,
there will always be room for the thorns to grow.
