Deep in Thought

by

Melissa DeMedio

I lie in bed,
Not knowing why,
Entranced in thought,
That makes me sigh.

I think about the everglades,
Or flourished forests,
In which I crave.

Starry skies,
And lit moon,
Create a shelter,
For me to room.

Lasting feeling,
Of peace; Delight,
That shelter the spirit,
And create no fright.
