Winged Love

by

Nancy Brar

Her eyes were full of love,

That even the God above,

Could not ignore nor deny,

For her love, with wings, did fly,

Relentlessly it came,

In determined rippling waves,

Catching those who saw,

Completely off guard,

For her love was strong,

It was true and lasted long,

Overflowing was her heart,

Her love she never did part,

As innocent as a child,

Unrestricted, free and wild,

Her love lived a life of it’s own,

It saved lost lonely souls,

For her love was for all,

Not only for those short, but for those tall,

Her love was sugar sweet,

It was tender and full of heat,

So stubborn was her love,

That even the God above,

Could not ignore nor deny,

For her love, on wings, did fly…
