Mississippi Life

By

Scott R. Jones

The full moonlight glows so bright
As it shines down on a Mississippi night
The sounds of frogs pierce the night
As they make their call for the morning light

The fields aglow with crops growing tall
The sounds of cows echoing their call
The birds sing to the summer breeze
As the rabbits hop to find their feed

Mississippi life is not for all
Just those who love nature's call.
