Silent Night

By

Scott R. Jones

Oh silent night with stars so bright
The air is full of hope tonight
The Holy one that comes today
Is born of a virgin in the hay

The wise men followed that Eastern star
Bearing gifts from very far
Oh blessed Mary, this birth you give
Is the Son of Man, that comes to live

This Child, this King, the Great I Am
He comes to save the world at hand
With perfect love He comes tonight
Beneath the star, that shined so bright

This silent night, this holy night
Let us rejoice in thanks tonight
This seed of Abraham, will set us free
So let us pray, on bended knee
