Dreams

by

Shirisha Mudunuri

Dreams are never quite what they seem

Just when you’re serious enough

Dreams come and brush away the tough

Some dreams can take you to a Magic castle

On the little island of Tebastle

Or take you to a place brand new

And make you feel things you can’t do

When you dream, you are a child again

And can talk pleasantly

Amongst the worst of men

Dreams make each and everything possible

So even when you twist and tousle

The dream will stay alive in your heart and in your mind

Dreams are more than just a Disneyworld

Or what is the magic of a fairy’s blonde curl

But the love in your heart

The feelings deep inside, and the never ending thrill ride
