Heavenly Stories

by

Solomon Machardson

When a child is exhausted

And there is no fun in its play

It goes back to its mother.

And asks its mother to leave her work

And tell him some bedtime stories

While he falls into a deep sleep.

When a man has lived a long life

And there is no fun in life

He too goes back to his Creator.

He asks his Creator to leave His work

And tell him some heavenly stories

While he falls into a deep sleep.
