Nature's Song

by

StacyAnn D. Lazowski

A new moon rises, high above the aging arbors

The ancient call of the wild is sounded

The lone owl casts out his warning

A whisper of wind sways through the trees

As Nature’s song plays on...

From the shores of a distant past, a river rages

In the bed of the forest, fallen leaves swirl

Among the mist of the wildflowers, a petal drops

In the heart of the mountain, an eagle soars

As Nature’s song plays on…

A rumble thunders through the sky

Creatures of the land scurry for shelter

An Earth so alive calmly listens

As the storm breaks and the rain falls…

This is Nature’s Song
