Falling In Love

by

Toni Boyer

As you hold me as close as you possibly can,
your hand gently stroking my face -
The feel of your skin against mine is a
comforting and soft touch.
At this moment I understand, this isn't
pretend or dress-up -
This isn't a vision of someone else's life.
You accept me as I am.
I feel my heart warm with excitement;
for I finally know what it is to love and
to be loved.
I never want this moment to end.
