A Half Person

by

Uzma Sadaf

There has be some fault in my writings

There is a picture which I cannot find

Some times the eyes, some times the lashes

Some times the cheeks remain incomplete

Then I am tired and forced to leave

I throw away the pen, the brush

I think how a half person can create

A full man’s picture.

All the life is manifest with half pictures

The friendships are spreading far beyond

Like the unbaked bricks every thing is washed

When it begins to rain.

The unbaked bricks cannot make a stable house

All the relations are half completed

They do not last long

They are like the cotton yarns

And break away very soon

All our dreams and their interpretations

Remain uncompleted.
