You Are The Same But…

by

Uzma Sadaf

You are the same even today

Your talks, your accent, your smile and your voice

Are the same, but how much have I changed

When I speak my voice does not support me

My accent tell lies

I have been stung by the snake of awareness

And I have broken

My inside has been filled with the poison of meditation

Many passions have been suppressed by the logic

You are the same but how much have I changed.
